Pepper Lunch Express Food Republic 1Utama

I've tried before the Pepper Lunch franchise over at Sunway Pyramid as well as Midvalley Megamall, hence it wasn't really new to me. The other day while at 1Utama, we did check out the Pepper Lunch Express located inside Food Republic ordering their Salmon Pepper Rice with Cheese.

DiGi WWWow Awards 2012

Digi WWWow Awards 2012 is coming again this year where bloggers and website owners are showcased and rewarded for their contributions. I had the chance to attend last year's Digi WWWow Awards and it was pretty cool. (DiGi WWWOW Awards 2011). Last week, they had their press conference and launch over at Digi D'House, which I was given the opportunity to attend thanks to Nuffnang.

Should He Get A Second Chance

Short Mention:

If you've checked out my past blog posts (Don't Wait To Make That Call and BF is A Serial Cheater?), this would be another variant of those videos. This round out of the latest three videos shown here, I've chosen one which I found rather interesting titled "Is He Buying Jewelry For Another Girl?"

The girl is unsure whether her boyfriend really did cheat on her, while the guy has this puzzled look to his face. The new video shows the girl "catching" her boyfriend with another girl but there's always two sides to a story. He might be showing a friend the jewelry, or probably that's his long lost cousin. What do you think?

Cinnamon Coffee House One World Hotel

One fine Saturday afternoon, we dropped by this nice place Cinnamon Coffee House at One World Hotel for their hi-tea buffet. Now the hotel itself is really rather classy, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their hi-tea buffet had such an extensive spread of food from Chinese dim sums, to Indian cuisines, to Western fares and so much more.

Wrath Of The Titans (2012)

Wrath of The Titans, the sequel to the 2010 Clash of The Titans had one of it's premiere screening in Malaysia over at TGV Sunway Pyramid. I was lucky to clinch some premiere tickets courtesy of Nuffnang, and like most folks, was excited to catch this movie. I rather liked the original, and with this sequel coming down with lots of action, it did not disappoint much.

SNSD (Girl's Generation) Twin Towers Live 2012

So I heard SNSD aka Girl's Generation was in town, and were to perform at the F1 Twin Towers @Live 2012. Now I'm used to listening to their songs when I used to play the online game Auditionsea, therefore it was nice I could catch them live at KLCC tonight.

Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge 2012

The walking man is back with the Johnnie Walker Black Circuit Lounge, this time happening over at MAEPS Serdang. Now I've been to last year's Johnnie Walker, and I must say they never fail to disappoint where alcohol is concerned. Think free flow pouring of Johnnie Walker Black Label and you'll pretty much get an idea how the night went.

Future Music Festival Asia 2012 Sepang

This is one really cool event, so cool that I actually did 2 pre-event writeups for it last week, one to promote Future Music Festival Asia, and the other to talk about their pre-event party. (Future Music Festival Asia Pre-Party Vertigo Club, Future Music Festival Asia 2012) Well, last weekend the party happened at Sepang and I was fortunate to obtain 2 first class passes to catch the performances in person.

Nan Lian Garden Hong Kong

Currently I'm going through some of my limited travels photos, and putting it up on this weblog of mine to document down my past experiences. Today's post shall be on one of the beautiful garden spots in Hong Kong when I was there mid of last year. Nan Lian Garden is a Chinese Classical Garden in Diamond Hill, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The garden has an area of 3.5 hectares, designed in the Tang Dynasty-style with hills, water features, trees, rocks and wooden structures.

Express Teppanyaki Food Republic 1Utama

The other day, we found ourselves in Food Republic 1 Utama for a good dinner. Now I've been here a couple of times before, but this was the first time I found out there was actually a really big section located deep inside Food Republic where it is more serene with less noise and customers. Anyway this post will be the first of a series of food posts from Food Republic.

My E-Stars Seoul Korea Tournament Experience

Back a couple of years, I had the opportunity to travel to Seoul, Korea to join the E-Stars Seoul Tournament. Going there as a gamer, it was truly an experience of a lifetime. We all know most Koreans are hardcore gamers, and there I was brushing shoulders with the professional gamers from all over the world. There were the Counter Strike pro-gamers, and the Starcraft pro-gamers, along with Sudden Attack and Audition

Don't Wait To Make That Call

A week ago, I shared on this video about this girl who was smashing up stuffs in her room with indications showing she just broke up. She was really emotional in there, making us wonder what is actually up with her boyfriend and what happened that caused that scenario. You can check the post here - "BF Is A Serial Cheater?". To jog up your memory I have included that video below as well.

All this anger, plus there was a shot of her smartphone showing the photo of her boyfriend got me thinking. Times have changed so much that everything is getting less personal, especially with the explosion of network data connectivity. Almost everybody is resorting to texting, tweeting, or Facebooking rather than using the good ol' fashion phone to convey a message.

Yip's Kitchen Sunway Pyramid

The other day, just before catching our John Carter movie in Sunway Pyramid, we dropped by this eatery to have a quick bite for dinner. Yip's Kitchen with the tagline "noodle specialist" attracted my attention to try out their noodles.

Emperor Grand Dorsett Subang Dim Sum Buffet

Weekends are the best day to indulge in some good dim sums early in the morning. This round, I had the chance to dine at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant in Grand Dorsett Subang and have some really good halal dim sum for breakfast, in my case it was a Sunday brunch.

Are You The Next Lee Hom?

Wang Lee Hom, now who doesn't know this perfect body, awesome sounding singer and performer? Lee Hom was in town just last week for a huge performance in Stadium Merdeka which delighted all of his Malaysia fans. This post is not about his concert, nor is it to talk about how great he is, but it is a short post to promote Celcom's currently on-going "Be Like Lee Hom and Win!" contest.

Future Music Festival Asia Pre-Party Vertigo Club

Future Music Festival Asia is only one week away, where more than 60 artists are going to perform to thousands of ravers. Check out my pre-writeup post a couple of days back (Future Music Festival Asia 2012). This round, Future Entertainment builds up the momentum towards the big day by holding a sonic pre-event party over in Vertigo Club the other day.

Skippys Pizza Phileo Damansara

A couple of weeks back, I dropped by this eatery over at Phileo Damansara serving pork related food for their 1st Anniversary Celebrations. It was sort of like an open house event, as the concept of Skippys Pizza Phileo Damansara itself was to mirror a homely cafe. Skippys Pizza does primarily delivery services, but with the introduction of its cafe, more customers have chosen to dine in there.

John Carter (2012) Movie Review

John Carter, before catching this movie screening tonight, I've heard some good things about it. The movie is slotted to come out in our cinemas this 8th March 2012. Seeing the trailer, I was expecting a good sci-fi movie but coming out of the movie a couple of hours later however, I must say it did entertain in some aspect.

Gyeongbokgung Palace Seoul Korea

A trip to Seoul in South Korea would not be complete without a visit to this historical landmark the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Located in northern Seoul, South Korea, the palace was first constructed in 1394 and was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. I got this information from wikipedia by the way.

Jumbo Floating Restaurant Hong Kong

Back in the days, I had the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong with Janice, and this was one of the food spots we managed to visit. Known as the Jumbo Floating Restaurant in Abardeen Hong Kong, we were told it was one of the "must-go" place. It wasn't accessible by the light rail transit though, so we had to travel there by the bus #973 from Tsim Sha Tsui to Aberdeen.

Digi Fandroid Day Workshop Studio D’House

This weekend, I had the chance to attend a simple workshop session for Android fans, over at the new Studio D' House Digi in Shah Alam thanks to Nuffnang. Throw in some food, a few prizes, a Google representative, and a tour of Digi's new HQ and we called it a day at about 1.30pm.

The Lorax (2012) Movie Review

Lorax is coming to town, this Dr Seuss' creation is opening soon and I had the opportunity to catch it's premiere screening thanks to ChurpChurp and Nuffnang. After a rather long time, I was actually excited to catch an animated movie as the trailers from Lorax totally caught my attention. Glad to say, it did not disappoint. Think along the lines of Despicable Me, and Horton Hears A Who, Lorax was an entertaining watch.

Manhattan Fish Market Queensbay Mall Penang

It's been awhile since I dined at Manhattan Fish Market. Now I feel this franchise was nice when it came out years ago, but in recent times after having a meal there, I remind myself over and over again not to do it so often. I did not really like the after taste, probably due to the oil and method of deep frying the seafood that Manhattan uses that I can't get used to.

BF Is A Serial Cheater?

Stumbling upon this video yesterday, I was rather intrigued by the emotions shown by the girl inside. It is a rather short video, 28 seconds run time to be exact, with a "to be continued" phrase at the end indicating there might be more to come. Check it out below.

My first thoughts after watching that short video was that this sweet young thing just got ditched or something by the boyfriend. After a quick glance at his broken photo, she smashes it down into this box filled with what is most likely his presents.

We see a really emotional girl reminiscing about some happy memory with the boyfriend, one of which he gives her a teddy bear. Crying and raging, the emotions evoked by this video brings forth so much anger and sadness. What do you think? There should be more coming up, as I'm still really curious on the ending of this video.

DG Smart Plan and my Android Phone

If you have been following my blog, you'll have realized I have actually written two different posts on the Samsung Galaxy Note. The first was to introduce the Galaxy Note when it first came out, complete with some really awesome specifications and all. (Samsung Galaxy Note is Here!) A couple of months later, I had the opportunity to catch their roadshow over in 1 Utama, where we were introduced to how the Samsung Galaxy Note can function much more than just an average phone. Moet Hennessy Diageo Media Appreciation Night

Moet Hennessy Diageo had their media appreciation night over at Bianco Vertigo Club where the theme was "A Night Of 7 Deadly Sins". I had the opportunity to attend the night which was pretty cool, with various sections portraying each of the seven sins for us to indulge in. Basically there were games, performances and fun stuffs that night with lucky draws held throughout where everyone had an opportunity to return with at least one gift.
