Beastly Movie Premiere

Last Wednesday, got myself a pair of tickets for the movie premiere of Beastly at e@Curve, PJ. Arrived just before the ticket collection at 8.30pm, and the show started promptly at 9.30pm. The movie premiere was an event by Nuffnang, and I was glad to be able to join in.

Anyway, this round there weren't any free merchandise giveaway, but there were some prizes for the best dressed blogger. Needless to say, I'm not at my best, in fact I was in my working clothes. No prizes for me then.

I helped a few fellow bloggers (Carmen and Tikkoss) to collect their tickets first as I happen to be early and at the front. Unfortunately after the ticket collection, my iphone went cuckoo and couldn't start up. Initially it was a case of battery drained, but later when I brought it to a handphone shop to charge, it couldnt start up at all! Bah!

Tickets plus more I heart Nuffnang Badges!

Coming back to the movie, I'm glad to say I left the cinema feeling good. It was a long time since I really felt contented over a love story movie. Maybe it's because I really like the star actress? Her name's Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens). Have a look below.

Lovely, just lovely.

Lindy was the one person that helped our Mr Beastly Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) get back his charming good looks after being cursed by a witch Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen) to look badly scarred due to his high and mighty attitude with no regards to other people's feelings.

He and She

Seriously, it was such a feel good movie that at the end, I was so happy for this couple. In a nutshell, the movie is about Kyle who gets scarred and has 1 year exactly to get a girl to fall in love with him and utter 3 simple words "I love you". We see him stumbling and tripping trying to get the affection of sweet Lindy. In the end, our sweet Lindy was smitten by Kyle even in his scarred look.

Okay, so the plot is really THAT simple, but hey I'm not complaining! Maybe I'm being biased because I really really like the lead actress, but it's a fact, we have a good and solid love story which blossoms in the end against all odds.

Here I leave you with a couple more shots from the movie. Do catch it once it's out in the cinemas, and you'll understand why I feel its such a feel good love story.
