Alcohol Usage In Society Increasing?

Alcohol consumption in our current society has already reached the level that everybody consider it a norm. I have colleagues who frequents the pubs and bars more than 4 times in a week, and getting drunk each and every time.

Why do people do it? For a quick release from the boundaries of society? Out of boredome? Peer pressure? To run from work stress? I guess the reason varies from people of different age groups and also depending on background, but the fact remains that alcohol usage in our society today is at an all time high.

To help you visualize, below here's an interesting infographic with some very interesting facts on how alcohol relates to our blood level. Do check it out.
