BRJ Bistro Corner At Wangsa Maju

Yesterday night, I had the urge to have something spicy, and nasi lemak came to mind. What better place to satisfy my craving for nasi lemak than BRJ Bistro Corner, this famous mamak outlet very near to my house in Wangsa Maju. I've heard people saying this place has the best nasi lemak ayam which prompted me to order one.

My nasi lemak ayam was served with piping hot rice, and my choice of fried chicken thigh. The kacang wasn't enough, but it wasn't an issue because I asked them to top up. Overall the taste was good, enough "lemak" in the rice. However the sambal was a bit too sweet for my liking. The chicken was fantastic!

Oh, I ordered something else to go with my nasi lemak ayam. It's no wonder my waistline has been increasing lately. Have a look below on the 10 sticks of chicken satay. I like the fact that the seller wasn't stingy with the meat.

  2. Nasi lemak from mamak? Aren't the Malays' better? They say there's a stall at Jalan Alor that's very good but I've never tried. Can't stand the fact that they never cover thefood... Eyewww!!!

The satay looks good. Hope to go to Kajang when I go to KL mid-February...if some kind soul is willing to take me all the way there, that is.
